These Hex Socket Cap Metric Screws seem to be well made. They have a nice, consistent, shiny finish on them. They have held up fine for me so far. It's a good assortment of sizes and lengths as a starter kit. As with most kits like this there aren't a lot of the larger sized screws, but that's to be expected. I'm using them for 3D printed items that need screws and they're very good for that. They are common sizes for 3D printers themselves and for printed items as well.

The box stores don't readily carry M2.5 screws, and spending half the money for one screw on the Internet seemed foolish. While I will never use all these screws, the one I did use to fix the trigger on my air rifle worked perfectly. The plastic carrying case for these is pretty decent, as many of the cases you get on terminal tackle and hardware are exceptionally poor. Nothing pisses me off more than reaching into a tool/tackle box to grab out a smaller case and have it spring open, spewing stuff all over Hell's half-acre.

If you need basic hardware for little projects this is it. great hardware with basic nuts and washers.

I can buy small metric screws at my Ace Hardware, but the price is much higher. In small sizes like M2.5 or M4 or M5 single cap screws will cost 75 cents or more each. So if you need ten cap screws and ten nuts for a small project, you're better off to buy this set of 400+ assorted fasteners in a divided case for about the same money. It's that simple.

is a nice set if you are getting into 3-D printing or making something with a 3-D printer. Works excellent.

i picked these up because i had dropped a bolt from my e-bike's kickstand out on the trail and had to zip tie it to get home. i measured the remaining bolt as m6x20mm and since they are not available individually i picked up this lot. i have 3 e-bikes with the same kickstand configuration so i swapped out all of the existing bolts with these and a little loctite to make sure i'm not in the same situation again. have a lot of spares now but i am sure i will find a use for them in the future. plus, the e-bike company wanted to charge me $20 shipping for a single replacement bolt for the kickstand. don't think so
