A: Thanks for checking wit Thule.  It is water resistant not water proof.

**Q: Is there a water bottle pocket or holder on this bag?**
A: No, the outside is fairly smooth. I put my water bottle in one of the two smaller compartments on either end (the side that isn't meant for shoes).

**Q: What are the actual product dimensions of this bag? the amazon prod. description says 22"x8"x13", but then the prod. details says 21.7"x8.3"x13.8".**
