A: I did not find it to be waterproof, sorry.

A: No not really you only need the thinnest amount excellent glue

Used to patch inside ripped jeans with liberty fabric cuttings. Very happy to upcycle old clothes, though recommend to reinforce with some stitching as may come loose in the wash. Don’t use too much as it will dry hard, brush a light amount on. Be careful not to get it on the front/especially black fabric, as it dries white.
