Super light (390 g in Large), crazy flexible straight out the box, and the wide neoprene sleeve with silicone grippers keeps them exactly where they should be – no slipping even on sweaty Welsh descents. VPD hardens properly on impact (tested that the hard way at BikePark Wales – walked away laughing). Been wearing them 6 months under Fox Ranger pants; vent really well, no stink, quick to dry. If you want proper protection without feeling like you’re wearing cricket pads, these are spot on. Best knee pads I’ve owned. Worth every penny of the £75.

Very important to size yourself correctly, I went with a Large and I’m Glad I did, if you have any doubts size up these are a snug fit - this however means that they don’t slip on The trail - they are also quite comfortable and you forget your have them on after 10 min or so - you can feel the quality of workmanship as soon as you handle the item, great level of protection also - highly recommended
