You have to apply quite a lot of pressure to slot it in. Don’t know if it would come apart again!! **Q: So do you not use any water or detergents on the mop head itself? You just spray and mop?** A: I dissolve some hard floor cleaner with the water that goes into the spray but that's all. No need to wet the mop head. Just spray and mop. **Q: can i use Cif floor cleaner on this mop** A: Yes you can use anything as long as it’s compatible with your floor. I use mine to polish my wood flooring using method floor cleaner, smells of Almond, and is environmentally friendly. Purchased on Amazon. **Q: How much Karndean Clean liquid should be added? Also, does it require emptying after each use?** A: I would put in about 2 cap fulls and to be honest it uses water very quickly. You can empty it if you wish. But keep in mind that you can over flow it but I would put in your cleaning stuff in first then the water. Recommend - Yes Purchase again - Yes ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Quality Mop *by F***Y on 28 September 2019* The item arrived in a timely manner but not well packed cause scuffing to mop handle and let’s the transaction down. The mop itself performs in an easy to use manner and does what it should do. The cleaning fluid is stored in the handle of the mop and takes more than you think so do not be concerned that it is coming out on the floor somewhere. Caution should be considered if like me you normally store your mops and brooms upside down, the simple answer is do not! The mop cleans well and leaves a minimal amount of smears which clears with a rewipe or microfibre cloth. Much better than previous mop. There is a handy replacement mop head, not used mine yet, but looks easy enough to change.
