I am amazed at the quality of this product. The sprinkler is heavy duty and works really well.

Really pleased with this. The width and length of the spray is great. I wasn't sure before I bought it. It was a replacement for my Gardena one which has broken after a few years. It has a much better coverage than the old one and feels like it much better quality.

It was easy to connect to my hose pipe. The adjustments to control the spray area are easy to use. Not had it long but seems to be robust so pleased so far.

Two disappointing experiences with Hozelock sprinklers left me sprinklerless and with a very thirsty lawn. I had a good dig around for suitable alternatives and this stood out, simply because it wasn’t made entirely out of plastic.The metal construction feels solid, is heavy weight and includes a metal hose fitting. It instantly feels better quality than my previous purchases.In action the oscillation is smooth, has a good pace and has a nice wide spray pattern. I have reasonable water pressure; I barely have to open the tap to get the adequate spread for my 4m x 4m lawn. I haven’t tried it full cock but I imagine it has a very large spread for an oscillator.I imagine this will be more durable than my last plastic sprinkler and with a bit of annual maintenance should last for many years.I would happily recommend this product and I think the price is reasonable and reflects the quality.

I never thought I would write a review for a sprinkler but having moved into a new build house with all the trial and tribulations associated with turf I thought I would make the effort to write this for like minded people trying to find a suitable sprinkler. In the last month I have bought and borrowed several different sprinklers, mostly from Hozelock, and been disappointed with them all mainly for 2 reasons. Firstly they do not seem to have the "legs" to spray water wide enough to cover my whole garden (an average town house garden) and secondly I found the equivalent oscillating sprinkler slipped it's setting until it did not oscillate properly without jamming a piece of card into the mechanism.With this S&J sprinkler its a joy to water the garden. Not only is it incredibly well made and feels like it will last a life time but it has a simple sliding switch to control the oscillation which has a positive click and a small dial to increase/decrease the range. Using the combination of the two you can really tailor the coverage exactly as you wish and whilst it's expensive compared to the plastic Hozelock models, this is money well spent, it's the sort of the item which your grandchildren will have off you in years to come.

I have to say the other reviewers are right about it working well if your water pressure isn’t too high .Gives way more coverage than my last one ( G. F .) which looked similar with brass nozzles as well but was cheaper than this BUT your getting what you pay for .This is way more robust with a metal frame and the coverage adjustment is very easy too .The flow control also makes it easy to adjust the height .Can’t comment on the longevity of it yet but it’s the best oscillating sprinkler I’ve ever bought .Recommended.

After a great first summer and throughly cleaning and storing the sprinkler, I tried to use it this summer but it keeps getting stuck and does swing from one side to the other.I thought it would last more than one summer.If there is any maintenance please do let me know.
