Review: Great young family fun game - This game is great for younger kids. The rules are simple. But because there is that competitive edge, it’s a game both my kids (11 & 5) like playing with. Would definitely recommend for younger kids.

All Orchard Games products are made of very strong high density cardboard and this game is no different so it is assuring to know that it is tough and resilient to withstand any abuse kids are likely to give it and designed to last. The game has been well thought out and is lots of fun in bright engaging colours; my son especially enjoys being able to steal a monkey from another player when the spinner lands on the cheeky monkey. Highly recommended.

**Q: How does it work? What are the rules?**
A: You place the monkeys face down on the table, set up the simple tree structure and take turns with the spinner. If you spin the picture for “pick up a monkey” you pick one up and put it in your tree and then have another go until you spin either “put them in the pool”, “take the monkeys out of the pool and into your tree” or “take a monkey from someone else”, then that is the end of your go.  The monkeys hold different numbers of bananas. When all the monkeys are taken you count up the number of bananas you have and the one with the most is the winner.  It’s a simple game which young children can manage but still good fun. One of our favourite games.

My Son was very pleased and happy with his Cheeky Monkeys game. All Orchard Games products are made of very strong high density cardboard and this game is no different so it is assuring to know that it is tough and resilient to withstand any abuse kids are likely to give it and designed to last. The game has been well thought out and is lots of fun in bright engaging colours; my son especially enjoys being able to steal a monkey from another player when the spinner lands on the cheeky monkey. Highly recommended.
