After a couple of months of using it, it stop recording and I noticed that if I pulled slowly out the connector to the mic jack on the phone, it worked. For a moment I thought the mic jack of my phone was not working properly, but I tried a different mic and it worked so what stopped working was the mic connector. Unfortunately even if I pulled out the connector a lil bit, the quality of the recording was not the best any more.If you want a mic for a couple uses, this is cheap and will do the job, but if you plan on using the mic a few times per week, my experienced will say this will breakafter a couple of months. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Stand is useful but microphone is a bit useless for louder noises *by M***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 4 January 2019* I bought this microphone because I was wanting to record my car's exhaust (I'm sad I know). The car isn't too loud, a sporty MINI but even with the microphone about a foot from the exhaust it still maxed out the mic. Our old mic was temperamental, cuts out here and there. This new lapel mic is a good replacement. Have had no issues with smartphones/tablets recognising it and sound quality is as good as it gets with this price range.Didn’t work with our camcorder but we’ve had Rode hotshoe mics not working/compatible with it in the past. Nothing to do with the mic itself, rather the camcorder/manufacturer. I’d recommend contacting the seller if you want to use with anything other than smartphones/tablets/computers.Mic clips well on to shirt. There’s little static noise, it also does a good job in keeping out background noise.Bonuses in the box include a mic clip, 3.5mm extension cable, tripod and phone holder.
