I have tried to connect my ipad 2 to two tvs but the adapter has not worked on either, really disappointed and would appreciate the distributors advice if they have any. The HDMI cable is ok as it is used for other broadcasts from my laptop, the HDMI on the tv is also ok, so it can only be the adapter.

Brought this (along with new tv and hdmi cable) for my elderly father to save him having to mess around controlling a smart tv, and spent 2 weeks fault finding that it is this dongle that is faulty rather than the orpther bits and bobs (or his ‘old’ iPad).Once proven, by borrowing someone else’s, I thought I would return for refund, but now find there is a no returns policy!!!Don’t mind something’s not working although new (that’s life!), but not being able to return something that’s faulty is not acceptable IMO.

I needed to connect my old iPad to my TV to watch a French program (via VPN) on a bigger screen. You need an hdmi câble to connect the adaptator to your TV and select the right hdmi and... it works both sound and image. I found hard to insert and remove the adaptator at the beginning but then I saw 2 tiny buttons on each side you can press to easily remove or insert it. This could explain the comments that said it break... I used it for 3 days and it works how I expected it to ! If you want to use it for Netflix it doesn’t work due to Netflix number of screens limitations.

Prior to going on holiday to Portugal I paid for Netflix on my IPad. The only TV stations available at the apartment was BBC World and Sky News and so we wanted to connect my IPad to the TV to watch Netflix. We were unable to find a suitable 30 pin connection to buy to do this. On returning home I was delighted to find this Realmax connection on Amazon. We have tested it and it and found it to be just what we wanted with little effort to connect and can now view everything stored on my IPad on the TV, Netflix, Amazon Prime, photos. Wonderful and great value for money. I can't vouch for durability as we don't need to use at home that often but will always take it with us when we go away

I have been unable to get the item to work, but have to admit it might be due to my lack of knowledge. My Samsung tv is some ten years old and my iPad is only iOS 9.3.5.

Great to connect our ipad to the AV receiver so we can watch our ipad on our projector. Works a treat and arrived quickly. Good price too!

What a brilliant and inexpensive little device. Turns our Samsung TV into an excellent photo viewer via an HDMI cable. Works with iPhone 4S or an old iPad!Just make sure your Apple device's battery is charged up.

Awful product. Didn’t work. Gave me a green screen. Also. Not eligible for a return !! Had to complain to amazon to get a refund. Avoid. Buy a better brand. Pay the extra money.
