If you plan on putting anything in this pouch, that will leave about 6cm of length underneath. Otherwise it could just lay flat under whatever you put over it. The width of each individual half is 5.5 inches or 14cm.The depth of each individual side is about 0.7 inches or a little over 2cm. However when the case is closed, this depth easily doubles once you take into account the fact the case can stretch a little bit and the space that the zipper gives accounts for another 0.7 inches when closed. **Q: Is it waterproof** A: Of course not, maximum water resistant. It's just hard fabric **Q: Does this come with a shoulder strap?** A: No it does not come with a strap. There are no ‘D Rings’ to attach straps to either. Top quality product 👍🏻 ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Essential for any tech enthusiasts daily kit... *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 21 March 2017* A great little case which I use daily for my tech survival kit.Amazon have done a great job here producing an item that allows me to carry my essentials with me anywhere I go.The inside consists of a large mesh pocket on the left which is large enough to hold my USB hard drive, my MacBook power brick and my Hootoo USB c hub.On the right there are a number of smaller mesh and zipped pockets. These I use to hold a number of USB cables, my MacBook charging cable and adapters / other small items that could get lost easily if not safely zipped away.The overall case is a nice rigid material that I feel confident would absorb knocks, bumps and scrapes encountered in daily use and in a tech backpack.
