## Description

The General Tire AltiMAX RT45 is a long-lasting, all-season touring tire for coupes, sedans, minivans, and crossovers that's backed by up to 75,000-miles of limited manufacturer tread life coverage. Offering drivers reliable braking on wet roads, the AltiMAX RT45 utilizes Generals' Replacement Tire Monitor which features letters in the tread that wear off to read "REPLACE TIRE" when the tire wears to 2/32 of tread depth, indicating a tire change is needed.

Review: Best tire for the money - What a difference in the ride. So quiet. Really like the wear warning in the center tread. Great idea!
Review: Great traction, control, and treadlife. - These 5-rib Altimax RT45 tires made steering more responsive and road noise reduced compared to the 4-rib tires that came on the 2007 Cobalt I got used in June 2025. These tires ride amazingly comfortable. I have had this model on my Subaru Outback Limited 3.0R, and they were the best on road tires I have had on a Subaru, as good as stock tires in the limited dirt trails and sand I took it in so far. I expect to not need dedicated winter tires this year, because my experience with this model on a few cars has made me pick them as default now that I can't get the original Kelly Explorer or Explorer II models anymore. These General brand tires are just as good in all conditions as the Kelly/Goodyear ones I just mentioned. These are my new go-to. Traction, treadlife, and steering response are all very good.

Great tires, low road noise, good on highway and rougher roads. Great in the rain. Look pretty nice too. No defects on any of the 4 I ordered for my 04 corolla. Best value for money for that car and similar models.
