I.E. is it plastic?** A: It is fabric, not plastic, so will need to be spot cleaned. I have the pink one and haven't even had to spot clean it yet. I use it often and take my Scribe many places to take notes and read. I was concerned about choosing a light color, but am happy I went with a fun color that I enjoy. **Q: How does the device attach to the cover? It's hard to tell from the pictures.** A: The magnets cause it to simply (and effortlessly) snap into place. It comes away from the cover with very little pressure -- but thus far it hasn't come undone accidentally. I've been completely happy with this case. After being disappointed by many 3rd party cases, this has been a pleasant surprise. **Q: How easy is it to attach and remove from the kindle?** A: Couldn't be easier. The case simply snaps to the back of the Scribe. Detaches easily -- but not accidentally, in my experience thus far. **Q: Whats the implied warranty?** A: Please be advice don’t waste your money on this item ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very nice *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 18 June 2026* A tad expensive, but good quality and lovely feel, design and build ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I was ready to be disappointed but... *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 11 December 2024* Actually this is excellent! I was a little put off by the premium price but this is a well thought out cover. The kindle clips in with magnets but holds on well enough to be held upside down. The cover, when folded all the way around is held flat with a magnet which is important for ease of reading. Both angled poses are well designed and can be written on without issue. As you can see, the edges appear heat sealed so I'm hoping that I dont see the fraying that blighted earlier versions. When closed there is actually quite a nice "bumper" all the way around that should protect the kindle. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great but flawed *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 31 May 2023* On the bottom of the kindle are four pretty strong magnets which hold it in place in these official cases pretty well. I don’t know what other reviewers have been doing with theirs for it to be falling out all the time, but if you’re not flinging it around then the kindle stays in the case snugly and fine. It has fallen out of the case a few times, but not often and only when handled carelessly. The front flips over the top allowing you to read at a shallow angle or a steep angle if then turned 180°, which is the kind of thing you don’t get on many other device cases and the main selling point of this one in particular.Whilst the fabric itself is wonderful to the touch and the eye, after nearly six months constant use the edges are starting to fray quite badly. underneath the material is some kind of thick pad (where there are presumably some magnets too) but this stops just short of the sides leaving about 0.5cm of thin material which looks aesthetically pleasing but which my fingers are constantly catching and rubbing up against when holding the case or putting it in a bag/taking it out etc. Hence the fraying. If it’s just going to sit on a bedside table or similar then I would highly recommend this, but if you’re going to be traveling a lot with it then possibly look into the leather options. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ec/products/474346016-amazon-kindle-scribe-fabric-folio-cover-with-magnetic-attach-2024](https://www.desertcart.ec/products/474346016-amazon-kindle-scribe-fabric-folio-cover-with-magnetic-attach-2024) --- *Product available on Desertcart Ecuador* *Store origin: EC* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
