About the same effectiveness as brand name equivalent
Sometimes it effectively reduces coughs, sometimes not. Equally as effective as name brand version (Robitussin Cough Gels) for a better price. The softgels are relatively small, easy to swallow, no discernible taste or aftertaste.

Just cough suppressant!
I am not supposed to use decongestants (they raise my blood pressure A LOT) and most cough suppressants have decongestants - so I was really excited to find one that was just a suppressant & in pill form! Don't have to deal with anything tasting icky.

Works but comparatively pricey
Works great. But not the best value for the quantity. Gel caps are more expensive. Personally, I'd rather buy not gel caps for less money.
