## Description

Strawberry ‘Marshmello’ is a mid-season variety and a versatile cropper, having a wider range of areas and soils that may be used while still maintaining a healthy and heavy yield. The berries are soft and sweet, with a rich flavour and a bright, glossy colour. These Strawberry plants will arrive as a bare root, ready to plant. Upon arrival they are dormant with any leftover foliage shrivelled and dry. They should be planted soon after arrival and once planted they will be revitalised, with new growth emerging quickly and flowering soon after. Strawberry ‘Marshmello’ is an easy to grow and reasonably hardy bare root runner, and can be planted or potted in planters, pots, containers, or baskets. It will grow best in full sun and should be soaked in lukewarm water before planting to help rehydrate it. Water generously and apply a generous layer of mulch. Keep the soil moist to ensure healthy growth.

Review: Recommended - I bought these in March 24, I was a bit concerned when they arrived at how small they were but I followed instructions and the plants soon bounced into life, lost 2 plants but there were more than 20 in the bundle. The advice was that they wouldn't have much fruit for the first year and would fruit properly in a years time. How right they were, the amount and size of the fruits this year is amazing so I would highly recommend.

I ordered 20 plants on April 14th. They arrived quickly on April 16thand looked very good. However, only 17 arrived. I emailed GardenersDream and rec'd a reply asking for a photo. I replied telling them plants that already planted so just forget it. Another email arrived thanking me for my comments about the quality of the plants and advising me that further discussions with 'the team' would have to be made to decide on a solution to the problem which might take a bit of time. That was 5 days ago. Nothing since. If you do buy these Strawberries the my advice would be to check everything carefully and if anything not right then return them straightaway. The planed ones are actually starting to show signs of growth already. A shame that they're 3 short/£2.85's worth short.
