Real good box with plenty of room and good weather seal

Never tested on the ground, but if you are wall mounting is perfect.The gasket for the wires is awesome. Someone else complained but i really like that the lid is not part of the wire exit seal. It's over engineered.I did drill 2 small drain holes since i mounted vertically, but that's only because if there was ever minor ingress near the hinge down the road, i never have to worry about it slowely filling up.Great value, great design on the wire exit points. I think it's made for wall mounting...

This is a good product. It closes tightly and makes a strong water proof seal as it is designed to do. I bought one last year and have very pleased with it.

This definitely is waterproof but man I prefer the boxes where you open, put the plug in, then place the wire in the appropriate tab and close the lid. With this box have to:1) open2) lift a plastic tab (which doesn't slide up easily)3) put the plug in4) place the plug wire in a hole5) then fish the wire through some thick rubber6) then take the plastic tab and place it over the wire (which you have to make sure is precisely lined up) and slide it down and make sure to hear the click so you know it's locked7) now you can close itMy husband and I think it's just too many steps and the plastic tab is a pain in the ass to lock as you have to push down super hard.

Decent product. Can be a little tricky to get wires to sit exactly how you want but not bad once that's done.

Keeps everything inside nice and dry. Well designed with a clamp to hold the wires in place before you close the lid. A bit more expensive than some of the other boxes but the sturdy construction, nice positive latches, mindful design and uniform wire sealing gaskets make this worth the money.

Highly recommended, does provide great protection from the elements.

Very sturdy. Works as advertised. Bought this one because it had slots where I could lock it with a padlock. It's not a security box, but does it's job and keeps the kids out of it with a lock.
