Solidly built with an easy to open and close but secure clasp. Not clunky and heavy, quite streamlined in fact. I required a tight fit, as this was a replacement strap for a smart watch which must remain in close contact with the skin for the sensors to work properly, but the strap does not pinch and is surprisingly comfortable.What was most impressive is the inclusion of the tools necessary to remove and rejoin links for size adjustment and for fitting the strap to the watch.
