Java Software Solutions 9th Edition

I needed this book for a JAVA college class I was taking. The book is well written and covers quite a bit. I found it easy to read and understand.

I was worried about getting it used, but it’s in excellent condition.

I bought this for my computer science class and it has been great for the class, in terms of durability. I was also able to find a pdf but the book tends to be easier to read than my online copy. Java is sort of a dead language so you shouldn't start with Java unless you have to or just want to learn it. There are better used codes in the field, and I plan to learn probably python after I finish my associates in computer science.

Just why it's tiny than a normal textbook...

The 3/4th of the book is in okay condition, which can be expected because it’s a rental. But then the other 1/4th it terribly water damaged. This book needs to be tossed.

The media could not be loaded. I understood what I was buying when I purchased this. I have had to buy books for school before that had to be put into a 3 ring binder. But why, for this expensive price, would it say “fits in a standard 3 ring binder” when the paper is not the standard size 9x11. It’s sized 9x7 and only has 2 holes punched in it, so yes, it does fit in a 3 ring binder but it only can be used on 2 rings, leaving a good bottom part of the “book” not in a ring at all. I’m sure the quality of the books content is great, but for this price could I just have something that actually fits in a binder, or an actual book.
