Super spectacular voice of the gent reading this version of the Bible. I like the Amplified Bible best going in. Listening to it gives a very different perspective. And the price was certainly a lot better than I had hoped for. Highly recommended on all levels.NOTE: This is a DVD and contains MP3 file folders of the Old and New Testaments. I transferred the files to my computer and reduced the bit rate to 64bps. To play this DVD without a computer, you will need an MP3 player that plays DVDs.

everybody should have this. i fall asleep with this on, and i sleep like a baby all night long. it's the last thing satan wants you to do--listen to the Word of God. so he doesn't waste his time trying to make you worry--he wants you to fall asleep. and i might i add--sleep comes immediately. during the day, i play it in the car, around the house--it's a wonderful way to have someone read to you and pronounce all those difficult hebrew and greek names. enjoy

I love listening to the Amplified Bible but the format is ridiculous. It is not broken down by book and chapter. It is broken down into just chapters. Yes, just chapters. So, you have no idea how to find a book in the Bible unless you count every chapter up to the book you want to read. It took me forever to count the chapters and make myself a "key card" showing what chapter each book of the Bible starts with. WOW! Not sure what the maker of this app was thinking.

This is an EXCELLENT translation!!! ...but all 66 books of the Bible are just dumped into 15 files! Horrible presentation!This publication is completely unworthy of God's Word and the amplified bible. Can't fathom who would authorize the release of this publication in its current state!/Please let me know if you need my editing services./

i'm on my 2nd run through the audio, no annoying music in the background, good enunciation of the hard to pronounce words. it uses a lot of descriptions to get the meaning across for the layman using it as a self study during drives. FYI, unless your vehicle can play DVD's transfer it onto another media device, iphone via blue tooth or flash drive to play in your car otherwise lots of CD's, or just play it on your computer or DVD player at home

I don't like the fact that it doesn't match the actual amplified Bible and the chapter or not by every 66 books so it's harder to get to the book you want to read in the bible

This was everything I wanted it to be. It contained both the Old and New Testaments which I really wanted. I am a fan of the dramatized versions of scripture so this being just a straight translation took a little adjusting on my part but it's the "WORD" and ultimately that's all I crave is the"WORD OF GOD". I highly recommend this product. It was all on one cd you could ask for anything more.

I wanted the audio of the Amplified version so I can listen to it when ever I want to. It has insights in the translation which are good and not found in other translations. The narrator has a good voice and is able to make the verses which I have listened to, clear with light and shade in his voice. I like hearing other versions so I can compare the verses.
