There has been no effect on my skin and this is a good price for good quality metal. If you're on the fence because of the fit I say you definitely have to try it on to see if you like it! Though beautiful it had eroded and kept coming unclasped, thus leading me to buying this product. It is far more minimal than I thought I would like, but it is perfect. Even though it is larger than my last daith, it is not an eyesore in the slightest and was easy for my piercer to get into place. This material does not erode and I have not had to worry about it coming undone even once.
