As someone whose suffered with anxiety for most my life, I've tried hundreds of different products over the years that purport to help alleviate symptoms or change thought patterns and almost none of them work. It was actually my counsellor who showed me these cards and I liked them so much I decided to buy a set myself. Personally I find the photos, as nice as they are, completely ineffective in stopping my thought patterns. However, the questions really do work. When my mind is racing I'll grab a card and read the question and they are interesting and free roaming enough to allow me to change what I'm thinking about and concentrate on how I would answer the question. Due to the nature of the questions, many times its also something that will lead onto to other topics in your head. This, for me, is a great way to break the cycle of anxiety thoughts and calm myself time. I also find them a good way to get to sleep. Simply pick a question and go to bed thinking about the answer instead of allowing the darkness to close in and being kept awake by anxiety.

Arrived with a bend in every card. Sent in the flimsiest envelope. I think the cards are lovely designs but really upset about the bend as they look second hand.
