A: Thank you for your interest in our Five Star Spiral Notebooks.  Yes, this is 1/4" grid or 4 squares per inch.

**Q: Does pen ink bleed through to the other side? I like using 207 micro uni-ball black pens.**
A: I use the G3 gel ink pens and they do not bless at all. So I wouldn’t think so!

A: I tried it with a thin sharpie which would bleed more than that pen and it went through to the back of the page but not to the next page, so the pen you like should be fine.

Love theses. Four grids to the inch in X and Y. High quality paper, good sturdy plastic covers and construction. Has plenty of paper for a semester, or just general note taking. I've been relying on these notebooks for years, and they consistently serve me well. Typically, they endure for at least a full college quarter, comfortably accommodating a Physics or Calculus course. Their impressive durability, with long-lasting covers, is a standout feature. I also genuinely appreciate their aesthetic appeal. Unlike some of the cheaper alternatives, these notebooks maintain their integrity over time, so although they're pricey, they're worth it!
