Let’s start with the chocolate flavor. It’s hands down one of the most aggressively unpleasant things I’ve ever had to choke down. If my dog had to imagine what chocolate tastes like, this would be her best guess. It’s a flavor that feels like it was born from Kirkland-brand dog food, fish antibiotics and regret. I’m still trying to finish the other half, and it’s a struggle. On the flip side, the vanilla flavor was a pleasant surprise. It’s extremely sweet but super tasty. The texture across the board is pretty much what you'd expect from a ready-to-drink protein shake: smooth, slightly thick, and easy to drink. Either way, you can’t argue with 40 grams of protein, zero fat, and zero carbs. That's kind of hard to beat, especially when you're chasing gains without compromising your macros. I'm sticking with 5 stars because I was warned about the chocolate and didn't listen.
