Adjusting size & removing some links can be a bit fiddly but with patience is easy enough. Take note of the arrows on the back of the strap to remove the pin in the right direction. As the photo shows the build quality is very poor in respect of the tool used to remove links. Mine broke almost immediately without any excessive force and when the pin was removed you could see some rust on the pin. I suspect moisture had got into the packaging before it was packed. Fortunately I have another watch/ strap tool for a different watch I own and this did the job the perfectly.
