A: For noise cancellation these headphones are great for background noise cancellation. I use them on my electronic and acoustic drum kits they are very good. I think they are much better than my AKG headphones for noise cancellation.

**Q: Are these headphones loud, when you crank them up?**
A: I use them on my Roland TD12, and I don't have the module volume on full. They are plenty loud, and I do heavy rock drums.

Wow! These babies provide a tight seal! Can turn the music down real low as these block out a lot of external noise. Feel like industrial grade noise blockers. Can be a little uncomfortable when wearing for long periods, as these kinds of ear protectors tend to be, but they are perfect for practicing.
