Abi was so into her boyfriend Joseph, but he unfortunately was not that invested. She schemed to get him back by doing his bucket list, hoping to get his attention. So intent and focused was she on the tasks that she failed to see anything else. Funny and witty, yes, but the story also inspires the reader to be true to one's self; and be not afraid to get outside the comfort zone. I just thought the idea of our main character sounded like something Lucy Ricardo would dream up. It's great that she crossed out of her comfort zone and made some discoveries (which I did like), but the story seemed pretty predictable. The majority of romantic novels or in this case, a rom-com novel are figured out by the first few chapters.
