**Q: Can this keep track of the temperature of the grill? I’ve seen some where they can clip onto a grate....**
A: This did not come with the grill clip. But my last one did and I was going to use that on this one to do just that with one of the channels.  So yes you can

**Q: Difference between tp27 an tp28? What one is better?**
A: I'd say they are pretty much the same. ( wireless remote to 500 ft. ect. ) But the main difference is the TP27 has 4 temp. probes instead of 2. Four could be handy if bar-b-queing different types of meat on the grill. I only needed mine for in the kitchen oven. If you google Thermopro TP27 you can go to there website and read there comparison .

A: Yes you can. It is on the transmitter(probes go)  it is the button on the lower left.
