I followed the side chart. I know they are supposed to be tight, but sometimes they pinch to the point where I get shooting pain in my feet or ankle. I also seem to always get blisters if I don't wear socks (which I know you are not supposed to). I ordered a 7.5, which is my normal street shoe size..they must be already sized down. They fit perfect (snug, but not painful, tip of toe touches the front of shoe, and no socks!), and they look great! I love the color ❤️ You can really tighten them up with the way the cross straps work as well. And they perform great! I’m using them for indoor rock climbing, and I definitely trust my shoes. Initially ordered the 36.5 and they for the body of my foot well but my toes were really crunched into them, it was a but painful to stand in. I ordered the next size up (37) to compare and ended up returning the smaller pair. The 37's are still snug but I don't have to bunch up my toes to fit them in. They've been great to climb in, lots of grip on the indoor climbing walls I've been on so far. Oh and they look awesome too.
