Needed to get Wi-Fi out to my pool area. This did the trick and now I can hear music through my Tab while enjoying the pool.

Biggest challenge for an amateur like me was to determine optimal antenna placement
Instructions are a bit chaotic, but easier to set up than expected. I used this as a basic AP over POE and had no issues. Biggest challenge for an amateur like me was to determine optimal antenna placement, which you need to learn on your own. Also, the antenna is quite large so make sure you read the specs.

It works.
Seems ok. Easy to configure. Seems to be built very nicely and has all the proper installation hardware for most applications. It sucks because it is PoE, but not 802.3AF compliant. Which means my PoE switch would not power it up. My switch does power other EnGenius APs that are 802.3af compliant, but you must use their power injector for this AP. I just never read the product manual before purchasing, but it does state that in the troubleshooting section. Also changing the admin password was a nightmare if your new password is more than 12 characters. It took me two factory resets to figure it out. It allows you to change the password and confirm it, but if you are not paying attention, you will not notice the password dots stopping at 12. Anything you type after that will not be recognized. No errors or warnings because when you type the confirmation password again, it will take the same 12 characters and accept the pw change. When you log in with the password you thought you set, it won't take because that is obviously wrong. This is with my other EnGenius AP as well not just this model. Not to Genius in my opinion. Just stay under 12 characters and you'll be fine. Speeds and movie streaming was fine. Surfing the web in the backyard was my goal and it works.
