There is no mechanical release lever or button or anything. The wheel goes over the wheel choke which is cammed over to hold the the bike in place, so it required some effort to get the bike out of the stand. I can remove my bike by sitting on the bike like I'm riding it, planting my feet on the flooring of the trailer and pulling back on the handle bars that way I can stabilize the bike once the bike comes out of the stand. The SC#2000 is a motorcycle chock but is for mounting in a trailer only. The PS#1500 is a Pit Stop Motorcycle Chock but it can be used mounted in a trailer or can be used as a Motorcycle Stand by itself. The PSTK#6400 is exactly the same as the PS#1500 except it comes with a separate quick release plate and hardware so the Chock can be quickly installed or removed from your trailer. I have this device for my trailer. As far as your scooter's tire being fat, that is not an issue with any of the models. **Q: will this work with a 2017 Indian Roadmaster?** A: Absolutely will work with your Roadmaster. I have a Indian Chief and this is the best bike chock on the planet. I bought it with the floor mount for my 6x12 trailer and have towed my bike to places several times. It is a one man operation, no other help needed in, or out of it. **Q: Can anyone tell me if this chock will bolt into a Uhaul motorcycle open trailer. Unfortunately, not all Uhaul mc trailers come with chocks.** A: Certainly it will fit; however, since you are renting a uhaul and this is not a permanent install I would advise to buy this chock and use it free standing but use four point tie-down straps (two in the rear and two in the front) to secure the motorcycle to the trailer. I have this Condor Chock and it is very stable and will hold the bike in an upright position, ratchet the straps down tightly and the front wheel will be held securely in the chock and the motorcycle will not move. It works perfectly with my 2012 Victory Cross Roads. In operation, you just drive onto the stand and step off your bike, which is held securely in the upright position. To exit the stand, just pull up an back on the bars and roll off. Nonslip pads on stabilizer bar prevent slippage on floor, so it does not require any fastening to the floor. Included is hardware required to fasten it to a trailer deck if desired. All material and design appear to well exceed safe use and storage requirements. Easy on, easy off, secure, and the bike stays in the full upright position making for great work access and reduces storage space requirement. One for a Honda Shadow (750) and another for a Kawasaki Voyager (1700). I picked up one from my local Harbor Freight store for $59. Quality was ok but getting the Honda on and off the chock was very difficult to say the least. The chock slid all over my garage floor while trying to load and unload the bike, it turned into a two person job. The Voyager would not fit, The front tire is 130mm and the Harbor Freight only holds up to a 127mm width. Ordered a Condor, and after taking all of 5 minutes to assemble I rolled the Voyager right up on it with no slipping at all. It came off the Condor just as easy. The construction and design is much better than the Harbor Freight chock. I'm going to return the Harbor Freight one and order a second Condor. The Condor is well worth the price difference just for the ease of moving it from the garage to the trailer using the quick release mounting not to mention it's a much better design. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Don't Go Cheap - You Get What You Pay For *by A***E on Reviewed in the United States on April 27, 2017* Ordered on a Sunday and it arrived on the following Wednesday, well before the estimated ship/arrival date. I had purchased a similar less expensive version from a local national chain prior to ordering this but was not so much impressed by the quality of the product and felt uncomfortable putting a $28K motorcycle into it. I read the reviews for this one and decided to take the chance. It was mostly put together straight out of the box and after reading the instructions on which position to adjust the cradle for my front tire size, I tested the chock out and it was spot-on. The bike securely locked into position the first attempt without much effort at all and it took just a moderate pull on the bike to remove it from the cradle. This chock is far superior and sturdier than the first chock I purchased and I feel it is well worth the money spent! I would caution anyone who had after-market fenders or lowered front fenders to beware and check the measurement before putting the bike into it.
