Stop reading reviews and watching vids. Get this bag and you won't be disappointed.
Amazing! I researched this bag and compared it to the competition and let me tell you, online pictures and YouTube video reviews are helpful, but once you get this in your hands you will see the quality and price point puts this bag head and shoulders above the competition. I mean having a 100 year warranty is great but I don't think I'm going to live that long nor at the very least need to use this bag for that long. The leather is top quality full grain, it's supports are sturdy, and craftsmanship is equal to other name brands. If money was no object of course I'd get the name brand, but since it is an object, a very pricy one, this bag is more than just the next best thing.Since I am a messenger/briefcase bag user this bag was right up my alley. I originally thought it to be too small, but found it can expand and contract to fit my needs. If I want to hold just a computer and docs I can shrink the bag with the side belts and make it slim. If I needed it to carry those and my hydro flasks and lunch and spare clothes and another computer and thick Bible and a jacket, I could do that too. Get this bag and you won't need another.I have attached pictures for your viewing pleasure. Now one small issue I do have is what I was concerned with. I do wear khakis and this bag did leave some stains as it rubbed up against my leg. Hoping this will happen less and less with continued use. Will update progress. To end on a good note, and to match the quality of the bag, is the customer service. Quick to answer questions. Aside from how cool this looks I was drawn to get it because of the customer service.

I'm really liking this bag!
I just got my Texbo full grain thick cowhide leather shoulder briefcase 17" laptop bag tote yesterday via UPS. I got the Brown one, but it also comes in a light brown and an updated version in black. The color matches very well with what is in the pictures actually. The black one is an updated version that has different hardware. I don't have the updated one so I can't compare, but if you look at the pictures you will notice the two outside belts have a clip clasp on them rather than the traditional belt buckle. I am assuming they did this on the updated black one to make it faster to open up. I prefer the traditional 3 belt buckle look and when I need it really secure, I will use all 3, but just for everyday use, I will only buckle the middle one and tuck the other two up back through the belt loops on the top flap.Is it heavy? Yes, it is, but it's a leather briefcase, so what did you expect. If you are going from a cheap backpack made of nylon or something like that, then you will notice the difference in weight for sure. With that said, since the strap is long (and quite adjustable), when I carry it, I carry it cross body with one of the pads on my shoulder and one offset across my chest. It is actually very comfortable that way and the weight is not as noticeable. No it does not have a way to do a passthrough to secure it to your roller bag carry on when walking through an airport. That's why I opted to spend an extra $11 and get a Travelon Bag Bungee (Amazon item B001TR0UZI). It fit very well on the particular carryon that I have (Samsonite Sphere 2). It's just the design of this type of bag - this style has the pocket in the back (just like a Saddleback Leather Classic Briefcase), so I just went with the cheap solution and it seems to work very well.As for the Texbo briefcase, the leather has a very light and pleasant leather smell - not strong at all in my opinion. It is crazy horse leather, so it will scratch very easy, but that actually is what I was looking for. I did end up getting some Leather Honey leather conditioner as well that I will put on a little later. The hardware feels pretty solid to me, so I am not expecting any troubles. My work laptop is a Dell 15.6" (diagonal screen measurement) and it fits in with plenty of room to spare. I do have a large gaming laptop (Asus RO G75VX) that is 17.3" and it just barely does not fit. and I mean just barely. The 17.3" (diagonal) screen laptop measures over 16 1/4" wide and the Texbo is not quite wide enough to slide it down in properly. A laptop with a width of 15.5" should work just fine. You might be able to fit a 16"wide laptop too, but I don't have one that size to test.I would recommend getting a cable organizer if you don't already have one. With these types of bags (with no zipper to close up), there is a small gap at the top sides that may appear if you don't have the top fairly tight (center belt buckle). if you travel and you know how things get moved around in the overhead bins, if you have the buckle somewhat loose and have some loose small items, there is a small chance they may slip out. Cable organizers (or something like it) will completely alleviate that concern. I got the BUBM Large black storage bag (Amazon item B07B29FJDL) and it seems to work very well for this.Overall, this Texbo bag feels very sturdy (thus some of the weight) and I love the design - I wanted something somewhat similar to a Saddleback Leather briefcase, but did not want to spend that kind of money on it. With the fact that the Texbo briefcase is so much cheaper than the Saddleback Leather ones, it seems like the best decision at just under $200. Is the leather as good as a Saddleback Leather bag? Well, not quite, but if you are not a leather aficionado where you have to have the best of the best at any cost, then this bag is one that I would highly recommend and I know I will enjoy using it for many years. Plus the Texbo is about 2 or 2.5 pounds lighter than the Saddleback Leather Classic Large Briefcase from the specs, so if you're concerned about weight in the first place, keep that in mind.

Just buy it!!!!!
I have only had this bag for approximately 2 weeks. Texbo was super fast with their delivery which arrived unexpectedly within 2 days and the packaging was superb. This bag is awesome! The interior pockets are spacious yet folds flat when pockets are unused. I researched this type of bag for the better part of a year comparing features, reviews, and quality vs price point. I personally believe this bag is a deal for the craftsmanship type quality you receive when you buy this messenger bag for less than $200. I have not experienced the staining of clothes while walking / traveling with the bag.Why 4 stars instead of 5? Unbuckling 3 straps gets very old when you have to get into your bag multiple times a day or while traveling with your hands full. I read this in the other reviews but did not think it would bother me. For the price and quality, its a small inconvenience. Overall great experience with Texbo.

Nice bag but with some definite draw backs
The reviews on how great the bag feels I absolutely agree with. I got my first full-time job out of college and felt I should have a bag to take on my commute that made me look and feel like a young professional. My feelings about it are mixed. The bag has a nice weight and feels substantial and made with quality construction. My first qualm was just how impractical three buckles really are. I read reviews about it before buying but brushed it off because I felt like it gave it character. Once I actually started using the bag having to constantly finagle with straps and buckles started getting a little old, especially while commuting and trying to get something out while my hands are full. I started just tucking the straps into the loops and just fastening the center buckle. The dye also stained a new pair of dress pants that I'm not not sure I'll be able to remove, even after I treated the leather hoping to reduce the likelihood of that happening since I read about it in other reviews. All in all its decent, but not perfect.
