I made a custom one out of aluminum years ago because nothing like this was sold and I needed an oversized escutcheon to cover the hole that had been enlarged due to plumbing work. When I saw this I had to get it for our new house just for nostalgic reasons. This looks great and works well, it is actually better made than i thought it would be. The metal is fairly thick and has a nice rubber seal around the hole. Great product!

We love this thing! My tile was cut just a little too short for the shower spout and I was scared it would need ripped out a redone. This product saved me from that. It has a quality finish and modern appearance which was just what I needed to replace the flange that came with the faucet kit as it was just a bit too small. I would recommend this before ripping out expensive tile or living with an unfinished looking gap.
