Q: Is this item easy to use?

Yes it is easy to use. If you let the movement wind down, you'll need to manually reset the time, but so long as there's motion going to the movement, it won't wind down while you're asleep. You have to swing your arms, or make sure the wrist you wear it on is in motion. The one thing to be aware of is that these watches are calibrated to be worn on the "weak" wrist (left wrist for a rightie, right wrist for a leftie) so ambidextrous persons (like me) may need to have the watch recalibrated to prevent overwinding.

Q: Is the watch covered by manufacturer warranty?

As far as I know. I have 3 Hamilton watches all automatic ones. One from 2004, and never had it sent in for maintenance, and looks and works great. This particular watch used the same mechanism as my others. By the way I had to have my Rolex had to have required maintance, and it is newer than the Hamilton.

Q: Are the hands luminous?

Technically yes, but they only have a thin luminous line so it has to be pretty dark to see them.
