not bad, but needs inspection
not bad quality over all, but one of the center conductors on the HF connector had excessive solder built up. i did not notice this until i tried to separate the connector from my SWR meter. it ended up pulling the center piece of the mating connector out damaging the unit. after pulling antenna connector off of the now broken equipment, it was discovered that there was excessive solder build up on the center conductor. i had to file it down with some fine sand paper to make a proper fit.

Nice quality.
Seems to work just fine for what I needed. Used it to make an "ugly rf choke" and then feed my shack from a home brew multi-band inverted V. I am getting great SWR. We have had lots of snow in the last month and the feed-line is holding up well. I will update if I have any issues in the future.

Good cable
Nice cable, well made. I have to be a little selective when buying this type of product. The cable shielding and the connector quality is often poor. Certainly not the case here. Cable is well shielded with braid and foil, good quality connectors properly assembled. Cable installed at my ham radio station and performing great.

Great bargain
This coax was used for an HF antenna and works perfectly. The coax is a bit more flexible than other brands so it is very easy to route it. The covering is slightly soft and less durable than some other brands but I used it to run under the eaves of my home so it is out of direct sunlight and protected from the weather. I found the extra flexibility was a plus in routing it. Overall, A great buy!

Shield not soldered to connectors
The coax itself seems to be a reasonably good quality. I was just appointed to find that the Shield was not soldered to either connector. After reviewing a few of the previous comments I’m curious as to how anyone knows what the center conductor is made of unless they cut the cable open? In short I think that most of the reviews on this product are B.S. but I guess for the price.... Next time I’ll just buy raw coax and put ends on myself.

RG-8X Coaxial Cable
This is decent quality cable. It has double shielding (aluminum foil inner, copper braid outer) and a stranded center copper conductor for flexibility. The end connectors are soldered on, and appear to be good quality. The country of origin is China, but that is not unusual these days. I would recommend this coax for most amateur radio applications. I used it to connect a 2 meter ground plane antenna, and it works very well.
