These are a very good value. The package I received stated "for dogs only"' but the ingredients are nearly the same as other pill pals for cats. My kitty loves these the best. They are very big, so I cut them in half for his pills. They don't come with a pocket, but you can easily form one. Highly recommend.

If your cat already likes Pill Pockets, they will LOVE Pill Pals - and YOU will love the added value and more bang for your buck! Simple to use, the individual pieces are large and easy to break apart and squeeze around whatever size pill you have. The bag I received was fresh and the pieces were soft and moist - not crumbly or dry. Although the package says for dogs only, my vet saw nothing in the ingredients that would be harmful to my cat, and my cat had no adverse effects after eating them (and he consumed them happily!) I give Pill Pals two thumbs up for quality and value and my cat gives them two paws up for taste!

What used to be an absolutely horrible time for both my poodle and me is now a joy. Micha has to take 2-3 different medicines 3 times a day and I had been trying to find something he would take (without gumming & tonguing the object de jour used to hide his medicine...then finally spitting it out!)My sister's vet gave her a sample of Pill Pals because her very large English setter spits out her pills faster than a speeding bullet (makes my poodle look like he is in slow motion). Yea for me because her dog would not eat them (I am sure Bella considered them "poison" because they came from the vet's office)! My sister then willed them to me to see if they could defuse the intense drama that was pill-time with Micha.Now, instead of running from me he thinks I "rock" and now thinks of "pill" time as reward time.....even barks at me when I am late with his pill. These "pill pals" have become as essential to Micha & I as air & water. Sorry to sound so dramatic but the days of shoving pills down my poodle's throat, then frantically rubbing it trying to make him to swallow are now a distant memory(nightmare).......life is so easy now!PLEASE NOTE: Even though this container says on the front label that these "pill pals" are for large dogs the "pill pal" easily breaks into smaller pieces which will wrap around any size pill.

I've been using these "pill pocket" type things for nearly 3 weeks and I am so happy that I found them. I've tried *every* way possible to avoid using a pill shooter, and these things have been the ONLY way Paws will take her meds. I was concerned that these indicated that they were for dogs, however, I followed other cat parents advice as well as my Vet who said that cats could have these too. I'm so relieved and glad that I did. So is Paws. 🐾 🐾

My pet can sniff out the pill I'm anything we have offered, I'm talking about peanut butter, cheese, hotdogs, cookies and I've tried store bought products and he will not eat them if I have a pill in them or the pill touched it, so I wad told about other products that you hide the pill in but he never would try them with or without the pill so I found pill pals and what do you know he eats it right up with and without a pill this is our 4 month using Pill Pals and with our pet we where told by our Veterinarian he maybe had 2 months to live and we're on the 4 month, but I just had to let anyone that is looking for a brand to facilitate in giving pills to their pet, to join us in satisfaction knowing that mine and your pet is getting the medication needed to keep your pet spreading love to you and your family. Honestly I have comfort knowing this product works and that's why I'm giving you this review.

My cay is a picky eater and takes her pill easily with these. I get the dog sized ones because they can be broken into smaller pieces and cost practically the same as a smaller bag.Sometimes they come a little dry. If you mist a little water into the bag, they with resaturate and become softer and more mailable again. I highly recommend the product.

My cat loves the flavor of this so much that before I even used it, he got to the bag, chewed it open and ate 3/4 of the bag. It’s the only pill “hider” he likes. He does not like those bacon flavored Play-doh pill pasted that come in a jar. Maybe those are more appealing to dogs.It is very easy to use and perfect for the 1/2 Prilosec tablet he requires every day. I have not tried these to hide capsules. That might not work as well.

I'm sure these work for some dogs but not mine. As soon as she smelled the pocket (without the pill) she walked away and had absolutely no interest. Thankfully I am able to return.
