The pieces are on the larger size, but not overly large. They fit together well and it was not too difficult to move sections. After starting to put it together, I found that I had an extra corner piece, but another edge piece was missing. I reached out to the maker of the puzzle and they quickly responded that they would replace the puzzle, and they did. I can't say enough how happy I am with the customer service.
