Review: Works for my carpal tunnel (apple pencil) - I am a student and write a lot of notes. I love writing notes, but my hand hurts pretty bad soon after starting. This tool works by increasing control while decreasing the amount of grip strength needed to control your pencil/pen when writing. It also corrects your writing posture without being awkward and uncomfortable. Fortunately, it fits over an Apple Pencil, which is what I use to take notes more often than not. I take it off to charge it, but it’s not like you need to charge an Apple Pencil multiple times a day.

It was great with handling and writing. And it came with the pen in the image too which was awesome. I didn't expect that! ## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is it possible to type without putting down my pen using this product? ?**
A: Yes.  I was able to type with the grip on after I covered the point of the pencil with a cap.  Could also do it with a retractable pen.  I am a very fast typist and it slowed me up a bit, also I would not use it when I'm typing a large amount.

**Q: I have a trigger thumb that won't bend.  I can't hold a pen/pencil normally so I'm wondering if this could help me use mostly my first finger...?**
A: As long as you could keep your thumb straight down the side it should work with your index finger placing a bit of pressure down the center of the gripper. Since each person's situation varies cannot say for certain it will be work.

I disliked that it only fits regular sized pens but I'm ok with that because there are lots of regular sized pens available in several stores. It was great with handling and writing. And it came with the pen in the image too which was awesome. I didn't expect that! I only expected the ring pen gripper by itself so it was so nice that they sent the pen too!

Great for arthritis fingers but only fits skinny pens. Hard to slip on and off but works great when I can get them on my pens.
