Not only that, but the wick is of a decent length to light. Please see my photos Each and every one used so far, and we have used many, will typically last the claimed eight hours. There is zero smell and no noticed smoke at all. Being a metal cannister, can be recycled in the correct rubbish bin, there is no burning of the case. They burn evenly and not one of them has failed. They offer great value for money and the longevity, as noted, is as good as expected. Wonderfully packaged, good value and consistent burning. Very much recommended.

**Q: What oil the wax is made from? Trying to avoid palm oil...**
A: Hi.. As far as I can remember they are unscented wax.. 
I can’t clarify more than that I’m afraid..

**Q: Do they contain parrafin?**
A: not sure about paraffin but i can say they are rubbish! they burn for about 30 mins not 8 hours as advertised. The wicks burn out very quickly leaving a block of wax that has no chance of burning as no wick. Try spaas tealights, much cheaper and burn properly xx
