They do what they are designed to do. - I am no dentist, so I can't tell you what a dentist would think about them, however I got them to pull a couple of teeth out of my own mouth that were giving me heck. They have been useful in a couple of other, non-dental, prying and pulling jobs as well. They look and feel like they are going to last. They are not corroding. DIY is my mantra and getting the right tool for the job has saved me lots of heart-ache. But sometimes the right tool is in the eye of the builder(?!). I bought these to pull one of my own very loose teeth, but these are not easy to maneuver; especially, if bumping—instead of grabbing your own loose tooth is painful! Lol smh! I ended up continuing to loosen tooth by hand each day. Why give these a 5-star rating? What makes me very happy that I bought these? I put them in my tool bag!
