I have two pairs of Ray-bans, which I bought elsewhere, they are the same product number as the pair I just ordered here. The lenses on this most recent pair are low quality, e.g. looking at a computer screen, they cause any print to look faded away, so you have to take them off. The same is to be said when I’m looking at my home phone screen, it looks like it has burn marks on it, but when I take the glasses off, they are gone. I’m finding it difficult to believe these lenses are actually Ray-Ban lenses. The two pairs of Ray-Bans I bought elsewhere do not produce these lens anomalies. I have 5 pairs of cheap sunglasses $12, that I use when I’m doing lawn work and the lenses are comparable to those, they produce the same anomalies. I do not recommend this product if you want to see what you are reading on a phone or a computer. In addition, if you touch the lenses, it leaves oily looking prints and smears on the lenses that will only wipe off with water and a lens towel, this is very inconvenient if you are on the go without access to water. And my hands were clean. Definitely not worth $171.

At first, I was skeptical that these were real RBs. Why? The box looked a little beat up, and the lenses had some very slight smudging. There was also no sticker on the lenses like they normally are on new RBs.However, after much research on YT and the RB site confirming Amazon as a certified reseller, I now believe these are genuine RBs. But I believe they were a customer returned item from a previous shipment.I’ve decided to keep them, because I like them and the lens quality. I also got them with a significant Prime Day discount, saving well over $70. So, worth it! I just wish they would discount an item if they’re sending something that was previously handled and returned.
