Best Sled Ever
At first, my granddaughters were not happy with them because they kept turning over. After several tries, they figured out you had to sit on the seat, but sat on your knees with your legs back and butt on the seat. One of the BEST features is being able to steer it. It maneuvers very well!! We love them!! One feature we don’t like is the small size. My granddaughters are small for their age so they fit it this year, but will be too big next year. They were expensive, but worth every dollar due to the joy they experienced.

Durable and grandkid loved it!
Grandkid wanted to sit in it all day since there was no snow outside yet. Now the other grandkid wants his own. Waited to write a review to see if it would last and it has. Lightweight for the kids to pull themselves.

So far so good
The media could not be loaded. Goes great in snow, fast. Appropriate size for my 11 year old son....a bit small for me, but I managed. (5'3 woman, 100 pounds) I couldnt see a grown man go on this thing, but some reviewers said they did!As other reviewers mentioned, the steering wheel seems to pop off for no reason, which is dangerous, as then all of a sudden your kid cant steer. (He had to bail half way down the hill a couple of times)We've only used this sled in one storm so far, but handled the hill, snow and our little jump pretty good. Replaced a 1980's snowhorse sled Ive had since I was 10, and finally fell apart on us!

Broken, Returned, No Refund Given
I purchased 3 of these for the holidays.2 were broken. I returned the blue one and received only a partial refund. I returned the second (pink) and have not received any refund.Steering wheel column broken on both so steering wheel does not go on or stay on.These are not cheap and you won't get your money back when they arrive broken. Everything was repackaged; including in its original large plastic bag and box.Manufacturing is poor. And Amazon is a rip off with returns!

WOW! EVERYONE Who Road This LOVES It - (Including Dads) - Awesome On Smooth Grading!
The media could not be loaded. Ok, so I've had this for a few months but was waiting to review because our initial outing was just not up to what I expected. We started on the slopes of our local 10,000+ foot mountain on a rather kid-friendly slope, however, as is the case in nature, the slope had a lot of moguls and the time we were out it had compacted snow (no fresh powder). This sled did NOT do a good job there, it simply hit the mogul and flew, and it was so slick that it was hard to get control. My son is 6 and was a bit disappointed. But then...We just had one of those once-a-year snowstorms and had a chance to ride this on the roads vs. on the mountain, and what a difference it makes! This is an absolute rocket on slick, smooth slopes. It smoked every sled the neighborhood threw at it, and my son was out there literally weaving around the racers on our 100 ft drop. If that was all there was to it I'd give it 3 stars, but then I hopped online and saw the weight rating and what did I see? This is rated for 250lb dads too? I had to give it a whirl, and am so glad I did because every other dad on the block rode it on long runs bombing down the hills and had an absolute blast. Ok, yes, you will pull your legs up a lot if your 6' or taller, or just hang them over the edge, but this has rather precision steering for a sled (slight turns go a long way) and once you lean just right you can fly down on a single rail. After an intensive 3 days and 7 dads (and all the kids) riding it the condition is great, hardly any wear on the rails and it held up brilliantly!Check out this video, you may not be able to tell but that is a HARD turn at speed, and this not only nails it but my son hardly moved. It is pricey but if you have the proper grading and slopes, well worth it!

Not rugged enough for the kind of use kids put it through.
Well designed but made of rather flimsy materials. Does not look like it will last a tough winter with kids running roughshod over it. Unfortunately, after I bought it, it never snowed to let my grandkids give it a try.

Sent to my niece as a birthday gift, and she loves it!
My sister and I sent this to our niece as a joint birthday gift, and she loves it! We’ve seen a recent video of her using it, and I love that she can steer herself. She loves the color, too. It was something she wanted, so it was money well spent.
