Review: Cool! - It's an awesome mold. This mold is big and takes quite a bit of resin to fill, maybe 7-8oz. But I'm not sure because I always fill the mold with gemstone dust, gem fragments, etc. as well as the epoxy. The investment will pay off, though. The realism and style of this skull are great! It's detailed and nothing seems "weird" or "silly" about it. You can make a serious, heirloom-quality item with this mold. This brand makes awesome stuff that is fun and easy to use! I use their moldmaking putty, liquid silicone, and a lot more. I recommend checking them out.

**Q: How much resin does it take?**
A: I used exactly 6oz of  resin and hardener each so 12.

**Q: Is chameleon powder required?  I want to do clear castings.**
A: No, you do not need to use anything other than resin. Chameleon powder is only required if you want it to look like that. You can make molds look however you choose for them to look. So if you want clear, don't use any colorants in your resin and pour straight into the mold. I also will say do small layers in this mold at a time such as no more than 30-40 ml of resin at a time to avoid flash curing. Do not pour more than 40 ml at a time.

**Q: Can this handle 250° f melted sugar?**
A: It seems very sturdy so I would think so, I haven't personally tried though.

**Q: Is this oven safe for melting 3d printer filament scraps?**
A: No, I absolutely do not recommend with these type molds. They are best with UV resin or regular resin. You can also possibly use with clay but not oven safe for sure.

Did its job, held up to a long use (8 hours) with a heat gun, excellent mold but tough to get out but it’s worth how good it looks for the price.
