I jave used them the next day amd they are a little soft. I haven't experimented with other recipes yet though. I have been very happy with my machine. **Q: Can it make crepes also?** A: I don't see why not. I haven't tried crepes, that would have to be an awful thin batter. Why not give it a try...all you'll lose is a small batter. I have the greatest time experimenting with this unit.......good luck to ya **Q: do they come out evenly browned?** A: No, see the picture on the box, this what you get at best. Mine cooks on half the batter the other half never gets brown.
