## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is the exhaust front or rear**
A: the exhaust is out the front

**Q: Does this one have the black painted logo like the 90 degree cp875 or is it exactly like the one in the picture?**
A: Weird. I just checked my toolbox and my 90 degree cp875 is red with no black logo. I checked my purchase history and it shows a black logo. Must be something new they are doing to the 90 degree models. However, the straight grinder pictured has no black logo.

**Q: Anyone now what the air supply is needed to run this tool?**
A: This tool requires 22 SCFM @ Load. In other words, to run this tool continuously, non-stop, you would need a compressor pump capable of running 22cfm @ 90psi. In reality, As long as you have a large enough tank, you will be able to run this tool with no problem for several minutes continuously. Very few home shop users will have a compressor this large. I run this on a 5hp 60 gallon single stage with no problem.

**Q: Cuales son los accesorios que tiene?**
A: Product information for the CP875:

Pneumatic tool equipped with 1/4" collet chuck for use with various burrs for grinding - No other use permitted. For professional use only.

## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great quality, low noise, great price, very compact
*by on Reviewed in the United States May 4, 2026*

I use this tool very hard. I am a professional industrial welder.Pros: light, compact, very quiet and appears to have appropriate power.Cons: when pushing the head sideways, head can come unscrewed, I tightened it well and has been good since. The way most people use this, it probably will never be an issue. If it is, make sure you understand how the head tightens to the body, it's a little counter intuitive though typical for this type of tool. It vents at the head which can be a bit annoying because after oiling it blows the oil onto the workpiece if not ran out first.Overall I love this tool. I run it extremely hard with deburing bits and use it professionally. Had it for about 6 weeks so far. If I have any problems with it, I'll update the review.Guy I work with has gone through 3 harbor freight equivalent tools since I have had this. We are just very hard on them.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It doesn’t seem to need very much air like that more expensive models
*by on Reviewed in the United States March 7, 2026*

I have a compressor that only puts out 5.5cf at 90 lbs and this little tool doesn’t have any problem with the low volume of air. It’s still runs and runs. The speed is pretty good. It’s very very easy to run very smooth and for the value of my money it’s pretty good. The only thing I don’t like is the safety lever yet to push forward to squeeze the trigger to make it go it seems kind of hard maybe a softer spring would be better but overall I would buy this again if I had to.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Plenty power for its size
*by on Reviewed in the United States May 23, 2022*

Writing the review after having this tool for 6 years. Bought this because I wanted a compact grinder to get into tight locations. Over the past 6 years I have used it every once in awhile with good results. During the last 6 months I have used this grinder almost daily. I have used it with both carbide burrs, cut off wheels as well as Roloc abrasive discs. At 90 psi and a fair amount of cfm it doesn’t bog down. Great little grinder!I own several pneumatic tools made by Chicago Pneumatic. All of them have given me good service. For the past 35 years I’ve been a loyal customer. This little tool has proved its durability in my opinion and this is the reason why I am writing a review. I paid $54 for it and if it blew up tomorrow I would think that it was worth it!The only negative thing I have to say about it is that the safety trigger is hard to engage at times. That being said it is a minor inconvenience.
