Moisture it seems spot on. It’s great for house plants and my outside pots. Light, seems accurate enough for indoor plants. I have some windows that block some uv rays and the gauge seems to be accurate. It’s certainly close enough that I can tell a difference between windows. And I do know which windows are which. The pH meter seems accurate enough for my plants. I’ve been stabbing it into the dirt all around my yard- wiping the probes clean between stabs. There are areas I knew were too acidic and I’m trying to correct that. So far it’s letting me know. The gauge reads dead center with bottled water, about 5 for vinegar and above 8 with alkaline water. If I need a more accurate reading I can do a chemical test. This is saving me money. I gave it 4 stars because I don’t know how long it will last. I’m hoping the entire growing season. If it does I’ll give it a 5. It’s still going strong. I’m in love with this little gadget. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It wasn't useful for the problem I was trying to assess *by on Reviewed in the United States September 18, 2023* I read the description carefully. A previously healthy Sago suddenly deteriorated and eventually died. The gardeners thought the Sago was getting too much water. They asked me to check the pH of the soil so I bought the meter. I didn't find it useful to do that with this meter. The meter did not meet my expectations or my lack of soil chemistry was overwhelmed by the meter. Either way, it was a wasted effort. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This has already improved my plant care *by on Reviewed in the United States April 18, 2022* I typically kill my houseplants by either overwatering and causing root rot or underwatering and killing them from the stress. This little device has already made me a better plantkeeper. I can't attest to the accuracy, but it is consistent, so I now use it to determine when to water my plants. I can check every plant in my collection (127) every day and only water those that need it. In addition, it has alerted me to plants in trouble because their pots drained insufficiently.
