## Description

Description Turn it on, so it can turn itself off. Ok, so it's a black box, sort of shiny, with a switch on top. But what does the switch do? Does it launch a nuclear attack? Does it terminate someone you don't know somewhere in the world? Does it make bacon magically appear? You stare at it over and over, hour after hour, until you can't take it anymore. You turn it on. And out of the box, a little finger pops out and turns the unit back off. That's all it does, and the smile on your face is proof it works. Presenting, the Useless Box Kit. You'll have your own gleaming acrylic box. Set it on your desk and wait for curiosity to cause victim after victim to turn it on - each to be met with the little finger turning the box back off. The Useless Box Kit - the silliest science kit we've ever fallen in love with. Features Amaze everyone with how technology can do incredibly simple things. Turn the Useless Box on, and it will turn itself off. That's all it does. Oh, and it also makes cool people smile (and scares away the squares). Box made of acrylic panels. Solder not needed and included Batteries: AA Batteries (Not included) Switch and Electronic motor (Included) Package includes 1 x Wooden Turns Itself Off Useless Box Leave Me Alone Assembly Kit Box Perpetual Machine for Geek Gifts or Desk Toys

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does this product operate with an "attitude"? Like does the finger turn off the switch in a different maner each time?**
A: Unfortunately, no. As I mentioned in my review, it is so lightning quick you barely have time to see what actually happened. Many I showed it to had no idea what transpired. The quickness of the action ruins the effect. Add to the fact that the "finger" is clear plastic, and it is a cute idea with bad execution. A much slower opening and closing would be far funnier and creepy. PS: I added a small doll hand and finger to the clear tip and now it resembles a hand. Still, too fast.

**Q: Can you put anything inside?**
A: No, and why would you? It's a very small box with a mechanism in it, putting something inside of it would interfere with it's operation.

**Q: Is the box heavy enough that it will not move (slide) when actuating the toggle switch? Dont what this to be a two hand operation.**
A: No, it will slide (two hands needed) but there is room in the box to fill with weight so it won't slide.

**Q: Does the "finger" go back in the box on it's own? Somebody said they have to manually push it back in each time.**
A: No. If they have to push the finger back into the box every time then they got a faulty product. It should turn the switch off then retract back into the box on its own.
