I'm running only in Altra and for road running Torin and Escalante are my preferred choice. To note that the Torin 5 is a bit narrower in the heel area than other generations. As there's Torin 7 by now, the 5 is cheaper so it's a consideration factor.

These running shoes were recommended by my daughter and I have to say I was not disappointed. The only thing I would say is get them a half to a full size bigger. I have had to use stretchers and although that’s great because they have worked, a larger size would have been ideal. I am so impressed I have ordered another pair but in a slightly bigger size. Hope this helps 👍
