i love this book and i know nothing about juicing
I am on chemotherapy and have no energy to make food but I can juice. I already had a juicer and I thought I was going to die with the amount of nutrition I wasn't getting and consider the Gerson therapy was all about juicing. I went to hydrate and loved the green juice so this is what I do green juice. But I'd like a little variety and she explains things to you. Like putting the lemon into the green juice with the skin on gives you the essential oil for the immune system but taking off the peel will make a nicer tasting juice. I want maximum nutrients and immune boost so I need some book like this which can tell me which vegetables and fruits to do what and how to prepare them. This book has that nutrition information that I needed. Good buy. And yes I discovered I had more energy, not much, but felt a little better so it was worth a glass of juice a day. Not that hard to clean the juicer. Nobody likes my juice because its weighted towards nutrients and immune boost and not taste but I don't mind. You need the first chapter which explains these nutrient things. And guess what you can add tumeric to your juice which is really good for the immune system and anticancer so next time I am going to add tumeric root to my juice. What's not to like. More immunity for me Yay!. Kill that cancer with the juice. I have tried wheatgrass and I am not a cow. I will not drink grass. But tumeric would be a welcome addition. This will be better than chemotherapy.

Right choice for me
This juice book meets my needs for variety with simplicity. I love the simple yet thorough layout and organization; just what I look for in a recipe book. Pleased I decided to make it my first juicing book. It looks like all I'll ever need to make a large variety of juices. I purchased a juicer to make "pulp lemonade" and I was thrilled to find an entire section of this book devoted to all fruit lemonades.

Best juicing recipe book I have ever seen!
I love this book! Juicing has been a true benefit in my life but I'm not exactly creative with my recipes. Vanessa provides a wide variety of recipes and pictures. I have allergies to anything from a rubber tree plant which includes all tropical fruit (pineapple, mango, etc) and I'm allergic to ginger. Vanessa offers such a wide variety of recipes that have have numerous choices and I am not limited. The book categorizes the juices so they are easy to find. For example, lately I have been adding Chia seeds to my drinks. She has an entire section dedicated to this. She provides information on the basics of juicing, juicing for your health and much more. I'm a simplistic person and I love how easy to use and functional this book is. Her passion for juicing truly shines through and I appreciate the fact that she is sharing her knowledge and expertise. one star off for some recipes
easy to read but some of the recipes could be clearer as not all pinch, sprig, handful and bunch are the same or mean the same to everyone other wise a great book

Wow. . . Just Wow!
I thought I knew a thing or two about juicing, having been juicing for a number of years. This book has taken me much deeper into the world of juicing. I've been making quite a few different juicing recipes - all of which are great and I recommend. But Vanessa Simkins has opened up a whole new world for me! Things like adding chia seeds or tumeric. The variety of produce in her recipes is exciting to me. Yes, for sure, if you are into juicing, you need this book! I have learned so much from it.

Love it!!
This is my favorite juicing book! At this point I own quite a few juicing books. I've been juicing for a while and at this point juicing books don't offer much for me. But this book is such a nice surprise! I love it. The books is divided into categories (detox, slimming, calming, kid friendly, etc.). Some juices involve a lot of ingredients and others just a 2 or 3. There is such a wide variety of juices. The books is nicely written. Offers useful tips for new to juicing such as picking the right juicer and healthy additions (i.e. wheat grass powder, chia seeds, etc.). The book is so beautiful too with colorful pictures. I got bored with my juices and I stopped jucing for a few months. With this book I've been juicing everyday again. And I feel wonderful.

The big book of juices have change my life and my health whoever read this review try the big book of juices all the recipes in the book are very easy to make not only that it also tastes delicious since receiving this book my diabetes blood pressure and arthritis I was on medication for all the problems but to day I take no medication at all by changing my eating habits and juicy I feel 100% better I also lost a lot of weight I went from 349 pounds I am down to 280 pounds..So thank you Vanessa and 21 day juice challenge.. so I am encourage you and everyone who reads this review to invest in this book you won’t be disappointed .
