Review: Solid full face helmet for 5 year old - Solid construction. The chin guard is screwed onto the helmet body so it won't come off easily during a crash. Unlike other cheaper ones that are merely attached using tongue and groove. Chin guard still removable by unscrewing two screws. The sun visor is helpful during the summer but also removable if the kid needs more visibility and awareness while learning how to ride. The chin strap comes with a soft padded protector so no more pinching skin when buckling. Phew! The additional velcroed-on foam padding inside the helmet was not needed so we removed them easily. Striking blue color. Our 5 year old loves it. Time for some stunts. Recommended!

A: My son is a smaller 7 year old and this is a great fit for him and the foreseeable 2-3 years. I would recommend it for ages 6-10
