## Description

Terro Outdoor Liquid Ant Baits 6 Bait Stations Pack of 2

Review: Awesome Ant Baits; Not a Responsive Seller - These Terro Ant Baits are excellent. We live in an area beset by gazillions of ants, but for the first time in 50 years, I have none. I placed these on each side of the front and rear porches on my home and boy, did they stop the ants from coming in. I replace them every spring (they last a surprisingly long time) and no more issues. We used to try sprays, powders, hot water, vinegar, home remedies, peppermint oil, and all sorts of things to no avail. These are safe and very, very effective. I can remember putting Sevin on a huge anthill in the yard based on manufacturer's recommendations. After I researched the environmental costs and toxicity of Sevin, I stopped using it. It works, but at what cost down the line? The next time I had a large anthill in the yard, I staked one of these Terro traps on top of it (they come with little stakes to secure them to the ground if you so choose). Problem solved just as quickly, but with safe ingredients and no followup. The only problem I had ordering these baits was that I ordered two packs of six baits each, for a total of twelve. The company sent me two packs of four baits each. When I complained about the inaccuracy and sent the baits back, they sent me two more packs of four baits each. I paid for twelve but received only eight. This turned into an unsolvable issue and desertcart dinged me for the second set of baits even though I returned them. Lesson learned- use caution when dealing with the "Terro Store".
Review: These do work, but patience required - Terro is the best ant deterrent I've found. It does eventually stop an attack, but you have to wait for results. When you first place them where the ants are coming in, they swarm it for several days. You have to be patient because it takes awhile for enough ants to eat the bait and take it back to the colony, but eventually they will taper off and be gone for awhile. However it doesn't last forever as new colonies find their way in, so you'll need to repeat periodically. I like this larger "outdoor" package better because it lasts longer and no stickly fluid leaking out like the smaller inside bait traps. If you have dogs that might get hold of these though, might not be safe for inside use.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked where other products didn't
*by T***. on August 24, 2018*

We had ants for months, they were in our walls and would crawl out our electrical sockets, cracks in molding and floor, and out every nook and cranny our old house had. I tried using Ant Spray which would work locally for a few days but the ants would just come out somewhere else. I eventually tried the Terro indoor liquid ant bait which worked well but wasn't sufficient to kill the whole ant colony. I did some research and realized I needed to attack the ants outside my house to really get rid of the problem. My wife broke down in tears one day after ants were in our bed, our dirty laundry, in our kitchen cupboards, toothbrushes, and even in the baby's room. I got quotes from several exterminators whom all wanted $200+ for the first visit. I decided this was outside our budget and I would try to handle it myself. I first used the Terro bait granules in the shaker bag, that product did NOT work. The ants completely ignored it. I did put a couple Terro Indoor Liquid Ant baits outside which worked REALLY well but the liquid evaporated away before the ant colony was completely dead. Enter Terro outdoor liquid ant bait. I could see several ant trails outside my house with ants headed into cracks in my foundation. I placed the outdoor Terro bait right in the middle of those lines and the ants went crazy for it. They loved the bait and IT DEFINITELY WORKED. It takes a few days, even a couple weeks but the ant activity around my house is way, way down. I think I've decimated 5-6 different ant colonies so far and I haven't seen a single ant in my house in several days. I haven't seen a line of ants in my house in weeks which is the first time that has happened since we moved in 6 months ago. I 100% endorse this product, but I do have a few minor critiques. 1: I wish I could see the activity inside the trap, I like that the indoor liquid bait traps are transparent allowing you to see if there is still bait present and any ant activity. I have had several traps be completely consumed by the ants until there was zero liquid bait left. 2: The included stakes for the outdoor liquid ant bait are useless. The plastic can't penetrate the ground here in California. I use a framing nail instead which works well. 3: Even though you're not supposed to I opened my outdoor liquid ant bait traps up after they had been outside for a few weeks. The liquid dries out and gets less viscous after a few weeks. The ants still appear to be interested in it and I tried mixing in just a bit of water which didn't work great. It has been hot here (California), but I'll probably have to replace my outdoor bait traps every few weeks just so they don't dry out too much. In summary: I love these outdoor liquid ant baits and they work extremely well. Saved me hundreds by not having to hire an exterminator.
