The barn-wood look of the blades is really cool and matches my flooring perfectly. I would have given this 5 stars except for the design flaw in the globe. It comes with an "amber" glass bowl globe, however, it's not translucent. It's a dark amber color with a metal trim, but, the underside has some sort of a white finish that prevents light from filtering through, so, it acts more like a night-light with a dim shade and uplighting. If you don't need something with a bright light, you'll probably love this. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing fan, not so great of a light *by D***. on Reviewed in the United States on May 1, 2017* We've had this fan for a few months now. Overall I'm really happy with it. We put it in a living room with large vaulted ceilings. The fan has no problem cooling down the room and moving a lot of air. It's quiet and looks really nice. People always comment on it when they come in the room. It looks much better in a larger living room than a standard 52" fan.The only thing I don't like about the fan is the lighting. It is adjustable, but the globe is heavily frosted and the bulbs are pretty dim. The biggest problem I have with it is there is no cover on the top of the globe. We have it on a 5' downrod. What happens is it projects the light up onto the ceiling. As a result, when the blades are spinning, it creates this strobing shadow on the ceiling and higher up on the walls. It makes the light pretty much unusable when the fan is on. If the fan is off, then it's fine. If the fan is mounted close to the ceiling, you probably won't have this issue. The problem is annoying, but I'd still definitely buy this fan again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful Fan - will buy more - 3 hr install *by T***M on Reviewed in the United States on April 21, 2018* Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  The Donegan, while time consuming to install, is an excellent fan. It looks brilliant in the room albeit doesn’t move seemingly more air than my smaller Hunter Anslee.The install took me about 3 hours, struggling with the grommets and dropping screws from atop a ladder.All in all I am happy with my Hunter fans (6 in total).
